This Powerpoint slide is a summary of a research-on-research study presented at the GOR 2007 Conference in Leipzig, Germany by Stefan Althoff (Lufthansa Technik) and Udo Dumke (topcom) on the subject of the PRD (previous rating displayed) Technique. This study, which was supplemented by research contributed by Socratic Technologies Inc., shows that the quality of data is increased when ratings of previous stimuli are presented in conjunction with the rating exercise for a new stimulus. This relative comparison technique increases the measurable differences between stimuli possessing similar characteristics.
